Comic panel references

Hobby comic artists often know the story beat but not the camera angle. We use Raphael AI, a free AI image generator at https://raphael.app, to try compositions quickly, then draw the panel ourselves.

Angle vocabulary that works

worm's-eye view, over-the-shoulder, extreme close-up on eyes, bird's-eye establishing shot, dutch angle. Put the angle first in the prompt; the model weights early words heavily.

Beat examples

• detective opening a creaky door into a dark office, over-the-shoulder, single light beam, ink style
• two kids racing bikes downhill, low angle, motion lines, summer
• robot gardener holding a wilted flower, extreme close-up, soft colour
